This week, we are rolling out an updated pricing structure for Zendo. This change is important, and we want to clearly explain what is changing, why we are doing it, and how it affects you.
Why we’re changing our pricing
Zendo has been evolving continuously since 2022. Over time, the platform has grown far beyond its original scope — with more features, deeper workflows, higher infrastructure costs, and a much greater responsibility on our side to keep everything reliable, secure, and well-supported.
As the product matures, we need to ensure Zendo is built on a sustainable foundation. This means aligning pricing more closely with how the platform is actually used in real businesses today.
At the moment, many users successfully run commercial operations on Zendo — sometimes generating significant monthly revenue — while remaining on the free plan. While we are happy to see Zendo creating real value, this imbalance makes it difficult to continue investing in the product at the level required for long-term stability and growth.
This update is about ensuring that:
- Zendo can continue to improve and expand
- Development, infrastructure, and support remain reliable
- The pricing model is fair and proportional to real usage
These changes are not about extracting more from users, but about building a platform that can exist, improve, and support its customers for years to come.
What’s changing
We are introducing four plans instead of the current structure:
Free
The Free plan will become significantly more limited and is intended purely for evaluation and early testing.
- No access to Stripe
- Maximum of 2 Request Types
- Only Productized One-Off services
- Maximum of 3 services
- No advanced selling or delivery features
This plan is designed to let you understand Zendo, not to run a full business on it.
Core
A new, affordable paid plan that unlocks key functionality and allows smaller businesses to start using Zendo properly.
- Access to essential paid features
- Designed for solo operators and early-stage setups
Pro
Very similar to the current Pro plan.
- Full access to core Zendo functionality
- Suitable for most service businesses
Agency
A replacement for the current Max plan, now cheaper than before.
- Built for teams and agencies running Zendo at scale
- Full feature access without artificial functional limits
Users and seats
In all paid plans, one internal user is included by default.
Additional internal users are available as paid add-ons.
We deliberately do not tie features to the number of users. Functionality should scale with your business needs, not your seat count.
How existing users will be migrated
On March 18, 2026, all existing accounts will be migrated to the new plans automatically, according to the following mapping:
- Free → Free
- Pro → Pro
- Max → Agency
The goal of this migration is to make the transition as predictable and straightforward as possible, without forcing users to reconfigure their entire setup.
Internal users and billing
With the new pricing structure, it’s important that each account has only as many active internal users as it is prepared to pay for.
All paid plans include one internal user by default.
Additional internal users are billed separately.
Before March 18, we strongly recommend reviewing your active internal users and deactivating any that are no longer needed, to avoid unexpected charges after migration.
Changing your plan before March 18
If you would like to switch plans before the migration date, you can do so at any time from the Billing settings in your Zendo admin panel.
If you plan to switch from a monthly to a yearly subscription during this transition period, please contact our support team directly and we’ll help you handle the change smoothly.
Questions and discussion
If you have questions about the new plans, migration, or billing, we invite you to join our Discord community.
This is where our team is most active and where you can get direct answers and discuss real-world use cases with other Zendo users.
Our commitment
We know pricing changes are never easy. We’ve spent a long time trying to avoid this step, but at this stage it’s necessary to ensure Zendo’s future.
Our commitment remains the same:
- Build a product that helps service businesses sell and deliver better
- Be transparent about our decisions
- Keep improving Zendo instead of slowly starving it of resources
If you have questions or concerns, please reach out. We’re happy to discuss your specific situation and help you choose the right plan.
Thank you for supporting Zendo and being part of this journey.
